Dream Cottage Lottery 2017

Grand Prize is a fully furnished Dream Cottage valued at $100,000.
Cash prize in lieu of Dream Cottage package is $65,000 if the ticket has TAG or $55,000 if no Tag on the ticket.

• Single Tickets and Sets of 3 tickets: 1 name only per ticket
• Sets of 10 and 25 tickets: 1 name only — same name on all tickets
• Must be 18 years old to purchase a ticket.
• Grand Prize Draw: July 5,2017
• Grand Prize is a 2 bedroom, modular Dream Cottage.
• Tag: add Tag to your ticket(s) and win the Furniture & Appliances with the Dream Cottage. If Winner opts for Cash prize instead, the prize is $65,000 with Tag or $55,000 if no Tag on the ticket.
• Early Bird Draws will take place at the Big Brothers Big Sisters /Boys & Girls Club office (115 Maher St Miramichi). One Board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters/Boys & Girls Club and three witnesses will be present for the Draw. The Draw will be videotaped and tickets drawn from a transparent draw barrel. Tickets will be drawn manually by a Board Member who does not have a ticket in the draw.  The winning ticket will be displayed to the witnesses for inspection immediately after it is drawn from the barrel.  Winning Tickets of Early Bird Prizes are returned to the Drum for future draws.
• Grand Prize Draw will be open to the public and take place at the Dream Cottage located at 2540 King George Hwy (in parking lot by Shoppers Drug Mart) Miramichi, NB. One member of the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters/Boys & Girls Club will be present to perform the Draw. The draw will be videotaped, and tickets drawn from a transparent draw barrel.  Tickets will be drawn manually by a Board Member who does not have a ticket in the draw.   The winning ticket will be displayed to the witnesses for inspection immediately after it is drawn from the barrel.
• Following are the draw dates and cut-off times for tickets sales:
  • Early Bird # 1: Draw Date: April 30, 2017
  • Early Bird # 2: Draw Date: May 15,  2017
  • The Final Grand Prize Draw for the Dream Cottage and 25 Anniversary Prizes will be held on July 5, 2017 at the Dream Cottage.
• No Refunds
• The winner may take Cash Prize of $10,000 in lieu of the 2017 Hyundai Elantra in Early Bird Draw # 2. The winner may take a Cash Prize of $65,000 instead of the Dream Cottage if the Ticket had Tag or Cash Prize of $55,000 if winning ticket did not have Tag.  Grand Prize of Dream Cottage: decision to be made by winner within 48 hours of Draw to accept a Cash Prize or the Dream Cottage.
• The winner is not allowed to sell the Dream Cottage from the display site.
• The winner is responsible for the Moving Costs of the Dream Cottage (and related costs) from the display site by Aug 8, 2017
• Not included with Dream Cottage: décor accessories, window coverings.
• Members of the Board of Directors and paid staff of Miramichi Big Brothers Big Sisters/Boys & Girls Club are not permitted to purchase Dream Cottage Lottery Tickets.
• Total tickets available: 38,000.
• Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
• Winners consent to the use of their name and photograph for publicity purposes.
• If the winner has not been located within 90 days of the draw, after publicly advertising this fact, the Agency will write to the Dept. of Public Safety –  Gaming Commission requesting permission to allocate said prizes for use by  Miramichi Big Brothers Big Sisters/Boys & Girls Club.
• Tickets for Dream Cottage Lottery are sold only in New Brunswick.
• Any tickets purchased online or by telephone must be mailed to a residential address in New Brunswick.
