Gold Rush Project

Tasks:

  • Answering the Phone
  • Serving individuals who come in to pay Gold Rush #’s
  • Data entry input
  • Filing
  • POS – operate a Point of Sale unit

This job is ideal if you are looking for some part-time work.  It is based in the office at Boys & Girls Club.  If you like answering the phone and providing solutions, and you are organized & efficient, you will like this job.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Gold Rush project of Miramichi Boys & Girls Club / Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Responsibilities

  • Answering  phone calls
  • Managing incoming and outgoing Email
  • Maintaining physical and electronic filing systems
  • Maintaining and restocking office supplies
  • Generating reports and performing data validation
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time efficiently
  • Ability to handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 or related software

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Diploma in Office Administration or related would be an asset
  • Effective and appropriate communication, both verbal and written
  • Strong time management skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • The ability to multi-task
