Big Brothers Big Sisters/ Boys & Girls Club Miramichi supports the ability of our community’s children and families to develop a strong sense of stability and direction, to feel connected with and confident in the places they live and to have the tools and knowledge with which to find success for their future.
In 2016 with your support, nearly 700 children, youth and their families found hope through friendship and safe activities provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters/ Boys & Girls Club and our 300+ volunteers. Our kids are doing better in school and going on to post-secondary education, they are resisting negative influences like drugs and alcohol, they feel part of their community and take pride in themselves and achieving their goals. With mentoring and after school programs in Miramichi and additional mentoring programs in Blackville, Sunny Corner, Tabusintac, Napan, and Bay du Vin, your support means that we can achieve greater outcomes for our kids and our communities.
