Boys & Girls Club is excited to launch our new Learning Lab.
Focus of Program: students struggling with Literacy in Grades 1, 2 & 3 only.
The program will focus on intense literacy including: building word banks, reading, writing, phonetic awareness, making predictions, retelling stories, role playing, and comprehensive exercises; we will be using the PM Books.
When: 2 afternoons a week for 12 weeks (starting March 14)
Where: At Boys & Girls Club
Time Frame: 4:30pm – 6pm (Parent must drop off and pick up their child at the Boys & Girls Club)
How Many Kids: 10 students / group
NO Fee
Facilitator: a retired Teacher who has Reading Recovery Training and has been a Literacy Clinician in our District.
