Mentoring Impact Scholarship

Eligibility:  A student pursuing their first year of post-secondary education who has previously been involved in Mentoring through Miramichi Big Brothers Big Sisters

Criteria:

  1. High School Grad from a local high school; going on to attend a 2, 3, or 4 year technical program majoring in scientific, engineering, medical or technology fields.
  2. Student most improved in grade 12
  3. Preference for prior involvement in a BBBS Mentoring Match

This scholarship is to be awarded annually; the scholarship is non-renewable and only awarded within the first year of high school graduation upon written confirmation from post-secondary institution.  This $2500 scholarship is paid directly to the College / University in the name of the student selected.

BOURSE SUR L’IMPACT EN TERMES DE BÉNÉVOLAT

Admissibilité: Une ou un étudiant  qui entreprendra sa première année au niveau post-secondaire qui a déjà été impliqué dans un Programme de mentorat avec le CLUB GRANDS-FRÈRES/GRANDES SOEURS de Miramichi

  1. Une ou finissant au secondaire d’une école locale; qui continuera ses études dans un programme de 2, 3, ou 4 années de programme technique en sciences, en génie, en médecine ou en  technologie.
  2. L’étudiante ou l’étudiant s’étant le plus amélioré en 12e année
  3. Une préférence sera accordée pour toute implication antérieure dans le mentorat dans le CGFGS.

La présente bourse sera accordée chaque année; elle n’est pas renouvelable et n’est accordée qu’à l’intérieur de la première année après la collation des diplômes, avec attestation écrite du collège ou de l’université au nom de l’étudiante ou de l’étudiant choisi. Cette bourse de 2 500.00 $ est payée directement au collège ou à l’université de l’étudiante ou l’étudiant choisi.
