4 – 7: ADVENTURELAND
Looking for Adventure? Look no further! Tighten up your laces boys and girls… we’re heading out! There is a lot to discover… so come join us for one adventure packed week! Come explore new territories at BGC, go swimming and have a blast! Play in lands like Water World, Opposite County and more here at Boys and Girls Club!
10 – 14: ALL BALL
They shoot and they score! Calling all sports fans … This week is sure to be a thrill! Come play kickball, football and every other ball! Your team is waiting at Boys and Girls Club! Practice, learn and improve skills; and have an amazing summer!
July 17 – 21: WATER WORKS
Splash into summer with this week at Camp! Beat the heat with Water Works; Drip, Drip, Drench; Musical Sprinkler and more! Swim at the town pool too! You’ll be slipping and sliding after this week! There is no better way to have a cooled off summer than spending it at the Boys & Girls Club!
July 24 – 28: COLOUR WARS
A colourful and crazy week waits for you! Join us for colour packed adventures like paint wars, powered paint party and much more! Make sure to wear old clothes because we are going to get clobbered with colour! You’ve never seen colour like you will at this camp!
July 31 – Aug 4: MIGHTY JUNGLE
Aaaahhhhaaahh! Grab a vine and swing with Tarzan! Paint your face like your favourite jungle animal, go on safari and see all the tigers that roam the grounds and meet all the other animals at the watering hole! Spot the wildlife nearby, have a giant jungle scavenger hunt, and so much more! Come spend this roaring week with us!
Aug 8 – 11: MYTHBUSTERS
Put on your thinking caps because we will need your help! Put science myths to the test! BUST them or PROVE them! Can we defy gravity? How many ways can we make a watermelon bust? Let’s find out! There is no place that does science the way Boys & Girls Club does science! Come find out!

Summer Fun for Older Youth
YOUTH ON THE RIVER DAY TRIPS open to youth grades 6 to 8
Choose your Saturday and come on an adventure! All you have to do is pick the day and get on the bus! One full day of non-stop fun at a mystery location + summer + friends = one good time! See you Saturday! Come prepared with a lunch, a towel and swim suit! (start at 10:00am and end at 3:00pm)
ADVENTURE CANOE DAY TRIPS (Youth ages 12 – 15)
July 10; July 17; July 24; July 31 ****This is a Boys & Girls Club event
FLAG FOOTBALL open to Youth ages 12-15 *** This is a NO CONTACT football skills camp
Aug 8 – 11 * (Runs from 4pm – 7pm each evening)
For those who want to learn the basics about Flag Football and have a great time doing it, this is the camp for you! Spend the cool evenings learning about the game and have a blast with a Camp Tournament at the end of the week! See you out on the field!

Our Staff are certified ‘SuperHeroes’: HIGH FIVE (Principles of Healthy Child Development), CPR/First Aid and Coordinated Approach to Physical Literacy and Fundamental Movement Skills for children. Staff goes through an intense screening/training process to ensure the highest safety of your child. The training program includes: Behavioural Management, Program Planning, Program Implementation, Supervision, Sun Safety, Emergency Response, Communication, Quality Assurance and more. Staff are supported by Youth Leaders (14-17yrs) who are enthusiastic, responsible and are chosen because they relate well with children of all ages.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
- Day Camps are open to children grades K – 5
- Flag Football Camps are open to ages 12 -15
- Youth on the River Day Trips are open to grades 6 – 8
- Morning and Afternoon snacks provided for all camps
- Parents are requested to notify the Camp Leader if the child is to leave the camp during the day.
- All campers will receive a “Camp at a Glance” on the first day of camp outlining the activities for the week.
Each week will include an outing to the Outdoor Pool – a supervised and fun swim for all children
The Boys and Girls Club is not responsible for any items your child loses at camp.
Please label all clothing and belonging. All left over clothing will be kept for one week at the end of camp.
All medication MUST be given in its original container with the required dosage on the container. Please provide instructions for administering medication. All medications must be given directly to a Camp Staff upon arrival.
