Exploring New Interests! Astride
Miousse recently matched with C.J. in our Community Program. Visiting at the local Senior’s home, going to TNB, exploring
nature at French Fort Cove, striving for better grades at school, talking about University…these
are all the things that Astride & C.J. enjoy.
C.J. can’t wait for the warmer weather, when he and Astride can go trout fishing!

Volunteering is a family affair for Charles & Lise LeBlanc.
Charles was matched with his Little Brother for a full year, when Lise decided she would like to join their match
and last fall they became a Big Couple to Brandon. Brandon now has the best of both worlds – Charles to shoot hoops
with and Lise to help with his homework; Brandon has even gone camping with Charles, Lise and their children. What Charles
thought was a good idea has now become even better – a family affair that makes a difference in all their lives!

Meet Carola Allison This past fall Carola Allison made
a decision to go back to school; so, every Tuesday Carola goes to school before she goes to work. Carola is a Big Sister in
our School Program and each week she shares one hour with her Little Brother, Jakob. Writing stories, sharing books and
telling jokes makes the time fly – too fast, if you ask either Jakob or Carola. Most people look forward to the weekend,
but for Jakob and Carola – Tuesday is the best day of the week!

If you run into Ed O’Donnell at Canadian Tire you’re
bound to hear a “Chaz story”. Ed and his Little Brother, Chaz, have been matched for almost 2 years and Ed
never tires of telling people how funny and smart his Little Brother is! Skating on the Barnaby River, working on school projects
or going to the grocery store and then cooking supper together – these are the moments that make their match special.
